POST 10: ENGLISH LENGUAGE CHALLENGES

I really like languages, I like the way it can connect people and at the same time how language can help us to represent or describe situations.

About my experience at the university, it helped me to better relate concepts and situations, at the same time that it encourages you to put your English into practice.

Through blogs I was able to improve my ability to conjugate verbs, structure sentences, one of my achievements has been to write the blogs in English and check it in the translator to see if I am actually writing what I want to say.

Something that I must improve in my English is the fluency when speaking it and the assent, I think it could be useful to talk with foreign people or associate the words with everyday things to occupy them every day, also when I am alone I like to sing songs in English in different styles as it helps me with pronunciation. I remember that in school they made us sing a song of our choice and it was evaluated. This actually represents a challenge for me that I would like to meet, since I believe that knowing English is an advantage. I would like to pronounce my English better because I like the British seat much more, I consider it elegant and more leisurely than American English.

I use English to watch series, to understand the lyrics of the songs, to review the producer's instructions that do not have translation, it can also be helpful in case someone who is a foreigner asks me directions, etc.
